About
"Attention is the beginning of devotion.” – Mary Oliver
For people who long to feel at home in their own body, their own hunger, their own life
I’m Clíodhna — psychotherapist, coach, and founder of PsychBody. My path to this work began through a difficult relationship with food and my body. Working in corporate environments for more than 10 years, I learned to rely on control, pace and intellect, and quietly lost touch with my own needs and inner knowing. It was through intuitive eating that I first found my way back, and into the wider world of somatic therapy and embodiment.
I now work with adults who recognise something of that in themselves. People who are outwardly capable, but inwardly disconnected from rest, from appetite, from a sense of enoughness. If you’ve tried talking about it and felt something was still missing, that may be because lasting change happens not just through insight, but through the body.
My Approach and Credentials
My approach is relational, collaborative, and paced to feel safe. I work with adults in person and online. I draw on a range of somatic and embodied practices — always in service of what you need. I draw on below professional trainings to support my work:
- MSc in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy
- Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor
- Sensorimotor Psychotherapy — Level 1 (Trauma Processing)
- 200 | 500 Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher + 50 Hour Trauma-Informed Yoga
- Advanced Diploma in Personal, Leadership & Executive Coaching — Level 6
- DISC Behavioural Insights & Motivators — Certified Practitioner
- Bachelor of Business, Economics and Social Studies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) & Prince II certified
My work has two homes. The first is here — with individuals navigating their inner world, their relationship with their body, and the quieter questions of a life well-lived. The second is in organisations. After more than a decade working inside complex corporate environments across Dublin, London and New York — in financial services, change management and strategic talent development — I understand the particular kind of disconnection that high-achieving professionals carry. The relentless pace. The identity built entirely on performance. The gap between how capable someone looks and how uncertain they feel. This is why I developed the Clear Sight Programme — a six-month leadership development journey for high potential professionals that works at the level of behaviour, psychology and identity. Not just skills. The whole person. If you are an HR or L&D leader interested in bringing this work into your organisation, I would welcome a conversation.
