Body-Led Nourishment

Food as conversation with your body.

You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.” – Mary Oliver

Drawing from the ten principles of Intuitive Eating developed by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch, Body-Led Nourishment helps you move beyond diet culture and rediscover trust in your body’s innate wisdom. Together we explore:

– Rejecting Diet Mentality
– Honouring Hunger & Fullness
– Making Peace with Food
– Emotional & Embodied Awareness

Over 10 sessions, we work together to integrate psychotherapy, offline resources, neuroscience, embodiment practices, and gentle movement to help you feel safe in your own skin as you reconnect with the joy of eating.

Who this is for

  • You have tried to get food “right” for years, and it still takes up more of your mind than you would like.
  • You eat by rules, or by rebellion against them, and rarely by hunger.
  • You are tired of treating your body as a project, and you want to find out what it would be like to trust it.

This is not a meal plan, and it is not weight loss. As a psychotherapist rather than a nutritionist or dietitian, I work with your relationship with food, not what you eat. If you are living with an eating disorder, we will talk in the consultation about whether this is the right support, or whether something else should come first.

What a session looks like

Each session is 50 minutes, in person in Dublin or online. We begin by noticing how you have arrived, what your body is doing, what the week has been like around food. From there we talk, and often move into something felt rather than thought: a short body-based practice, a moment of attention to hunger or fullness, sometimes gentle trauma-sensitive movement.

Between sessions there are focus areas based on intuitive eating principles, something small to notice, never something to get right.

What it costs

The Body-Led Nourishment Programme is €1000, which includes 10 individual sessions with me based around 10  intuitive eating principles. -minute session. These are usually scheduled fortnightly. We will agree the rhythm together, and you will complete self-paced learning outside of the sessions.

How to start

Begin with a free fifteen-minute conversation. You can tell me as much or as little as you like, ask anything, and decide afterwards. There is no wrong starting point.
